This Form 3 is being filed on behalf of Cablevision Systems Corporation and CSC Holdings, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cablevision Systems Corporation (collectively, the "Reporting Person"). The designated filer of this Form 3 is Cablevision Systems Corporation. The Reporting Person's address is 1111 Stewart Avenue, Bethpage, NY 11714.

Remarks:

This Form 3 is being filed in connection with the Securities and Exchange Commission's declaration of effectiveness of the Registration Statement on Form 10 of AMC Networks Inc. ("AMC") which describes the planned distribution by Cablevision to its stockholders of all common stock of AMC.
